Reprint :- In the vision I was sitting in a church congregation, & a church leader was preaching. He was oblivious to the true condition of the Church & their need to acknowledge where they had missed God, & where they needed to change so they could grow.
I felt the deep grief of God & I knew He wanted me to leave. As I stood up to go Holy Spirit said “you must speak up”! I wondered what I could possibly say but then
I heard God’s voice boom out to me “Jeremiah 6:14”,
so with an anointing that also provided the boldness necessary to obey, I looked at the church leader as he was preaching & called out “Jeremiah 6:14”, then simply gathered my things to leave. Then the vision ended.
The message to this vision is very clear. Firstly, myself & many others are being told to no longer be silent & to speak up. In this case its a message to preachers/leaders to acknowledge the message of Jeremiah 6:14 & to minister to the people based on what God is saying there.
When I had this vision I had no clue what Jeremiah 6;14 said, so I immediately looked it up.
I noticed that it says in the previous verse (Jer 6:13) that even then God was speaking to the leaders of God’s people…. “the priests & prophets”). The message in Jeremiah 6:14 is:-
“They dress the wound of my people as though it were not serious. ‘Peace, peace,’ they say, when there is no peace.” (Jer 6:14)
I found this scripture to be exactly repeated in Jeremiah 8:11, so it was & still is an important message that we still need to hear.
DETAILED REPRINTED MESSAGE: So God is clearly saying that His people are far from being strong & healthy in Him in the way they should be at this time & so are weak & struggling now & are not being made ready for the times ahead. Many leaders cannot see this & many cannot see how to conquer & take hold of Christ’s victory through Christ’s ways & strength &/or in the spiritual battle.
Many leaders are unaware of many of the lies of the enemy & many are ignoring the onslaughts of satan & the fact that the battle exists & must be fought, & so delude themselves & those they are called to shepherd into believing all is fine & that they are on target, whilst the people remain wounded, vulnerable & unarmed. They are passively waiting for some illusional day when God will just show up & make everything wonderful, but it wont be happening that way.
Many leaders even invite the Holy Spirit to come & to take over & then passively wait, wondering only why He doesn’t come instead of seeking for God’s counsel on the matter. They have not chosen to acknowledge that they have in some way shut out the Holy Spirit. This has often come about from lack of sincerely seeking God & listening for & heeding what He says.
Many leaders think they are right on track, with even many wrongly believing that their leaders & congregation are just fabulous & need no correction & so refuse to accept God’s guidance & chastisement. These leaders do not want to ‘discourage’ themselves & their congregation by acknowledging that maybe some things aren’t the way God wants them, so they refuse the counsel of the Holy Spirit, thereby remaining in disobedience & with their congregations in severe lack.
Many leaders have sinned in this way & have allowed the enemy to infiltrate their camp. In their refusal to acknowledge this & to repent & to chase the enemy out, the Holy Spirit is not really being welcomed, but instead is actually being resisted. The enemy & his influence must be removed by the leaders, but they have to be willing to hear what God is saying to them with a humble & teachable heart, without fear.
Too often the churches are being run by man’s ways & the leaders are following what they have been taught by their religious teachers instead of by God. Many are overtaken by Jezebel (control, intimidation, selfish ambition etc) & Ahab (passive, giving up their authority & power to other people instead of boldly obeying God)……. with the leader unknowingly being in alliance with either one, & so too the congregation.
I love God’s Church! Sadly there are many in the church who have their head in the sand & remain unaware of what the problems are that God is wanting dealt with. They think it is being loving & gracious to not face truth & address all that needs to be corrected in God’s Church. (This must be done by the leading of the Holy Spirit with God’s Heart). They do not understand what the Churches role really is in partnering with Christ in power, influence & authority to bring heaven to earth, & many have lost constant intimate connection with the ‘Head’… with Jesus.
Sadly, there are also many who can see many problems, but who have a critical or legalistic spirit & who do not understand God’s love & gracious heart toward His Church. We must see what God wants us to focus on in the Church, whether good or bad, & always seeing through His eyes of love, & obeying Him. God does everything out of love & for our good….. including correction, & discipline when necessary!
All growth comes thru God’s love, even when it is thru correction & discipline (Heb 12:5-13). Love never condemns or accuses… that’s satan’s way, not God’s way, but neither does that mean that we are to take lightly God’s correction, for He deals with us righteously for our good. When we have wandered, He will do or allow whatever is necessary to turn & hearts back to Him, just as He has had to do throughout the History of mankind, but He longs to deal with us gently, which He can do if we make ourselves available to receive Him that way so that He doesn’t have to allow us to reap unnecessary suffering from that which we have sown in our wanderings & participation in man’s ways. He wants to help us & to gently lead us!
Many of God’s people are worshipping God with our lips, but with hearts being far from Him…. being either ignorantly or pridefully content with the way things are, though the modern western church shows little similarity to the Church of New Testament Bible times even in its infancy. All of us to some extent live out of our own understanding & human reasoning because we are far from perfect, but too few are consistently & fervently seeking God so as to be transformed & so carry God’s Heart & see with His eyes instead. The Lord has so often said to me that satisfaction with lack & with so little of the Kingdom of God is rampant in the Church.
Many leaders still are sadly unaware of the goodness of God & so are still too afraid to entrust their own lives & the lives of their congregation into God’s Hands, therefore instead relying on their own understanding & human reasoning. Consequently they are teaching their congregation to do the same & to follow their ways. So, what would Jesus do?…… He would seek the Father’s will & obey & function out of the power of the Holy Spirit instead of out of His own power. This is the only way we can ‘imitate’ Jesus. This is the only way we can flourish & help those we influence to flourish also.
Many are worldly… thinking & behaving like the world, & many are pharisaical…. looking good on the outside, but living out of a religious spirit. The Lord has numerous times woken me to dictate Prophetic Words to me telling me of how His Church is more familiar with man’s ways than with Him, & that they are hungering for more of those ways instead of hungering for Him because this is what they have come to know better & put their trust in. His heart grieves over this! (In time I will post those Prophetic Words.)
God’s people need to be pointed back to Christ, & to the Cross, which has too often been forgotten. Disciples take up their cross daily & follow Christ, & there is too little understanding of this & of us knowing who we are as a new creation in Christ as part of His Royal Family, & of how deeply He treasures us & wants us to interract & participate with Him each & every day. He wants us to know Him intimately & to live out the abundant life He has prepared for us & we cannot do this if we do not understand the Cross, & take ours up daily to follow Him. With so much lack of understanding of what this means, people see this as a burden & have become weary in their attempts to do so for they do not understand how they can find the ‘rest’ & freedom of God by surrendering all to Him, but only know how to strive in their own strength, & in their weariness they have lost heart & wandered & even rebelled. Others simply don’t want to lay down their control yet because of pride, but the Lord knows each heart.
These wounded & broken ones are still trying to fix themselves & they live with shame & fear, whilst the Lord has His loving Arms out simply wanting them to run into His embrace & so find His ‘rest’ & peace there. He delights to carry us & to be our strength!
Whether we are running to other things because of wrong understanding & confusion, or because of pride, we can run to many false gods by making an idol out of anything, with the Lord Himself losing the place in our hearts as being our first love. We can even make an idol out of good & godly things like church, ministry, spiritual gifts, good works, buildings, our theology, & even the bible…..
We can read & even love the bible for the head knowledge it gives us so we feel good about being knowledgable about the things of God, & yet barely interract with & relate personally with God Himself on a day to day basis… barely knowing Him, but only knowing things about Him. When we dont know God intimately we can guarantee that even what we think we know about Him from our Bible reading will often not be right or will be unbalanced, because we cannot understand it properly if we do not know God’s heart well enough to receive revelation & understanding of what God is really saying. To discern & understand we need to be relating closely with God daily.
We cannot run into His Arms if we do not feel safe with Him yet, so we need much encouragement & right teaching to understand the love & care of God for us personally & how He delights in us simply because we are His children, & that He is not shaking His head at us in disgust because of our great weakness & human limitations in ourselves. We are meant to not be able to manage without His strength & enablement, but He knows we cannot draw that from Him until we feel safe to come to Him & eat & drink of Him. For those who long for this simply tell Him so from the depth of your heart & ask Him to help you, & stop beating yourself up because you’re not where you want to be yet.
Dont let others beat you up with their words or attitudes toward you either. You are greatly cherished by God. We all have some degree of pride also which causes us to stand back from God, so keep asking God to do whatever it takes to reveal that & change that in you, & He will answer. Be ready for Him to start exposing a lot of nasty little ways & attitudes we all have that we didnt realise we had, & rejoice in these being revealed to you & do not be ashamed, but sincerely repent & ask God to continue to help you lay all those down too so you will be free of further bondage & obstructions that have been holding you back from freedom, wholeness & fullness in Christ. This process never ends & is a great joy when we are not afraid to embrace our weakness as Paul did.
We’re all making lots of mistakes & have limited revelation & have far more to learn, but since “all knowledge & wisdom is found in Him” then we need to be intimate with Him to access the knowledge & wisdom we need. We cannot have it without being very close with God by seeking Him with ALL our heart. Yet if we seek God mainly to acquire knowledge, then we will be poor instead of rich in Him, for He is our essential food, drink & nutrition for our hearts & souls. We cannot help but grow in knowledge, discernment, wisdom & love simply by being in the Presence of our loving Heavenly Father, with a humble, hungry & teachable heart.
Many acknowledge with the lips that we need to grow & that we have not ‘arrived’, but if we really acknowledge this then we will constantly & fervently be seeking God & leaning on Him for His guidance & correction in every area of our lives, thoughts, understanding & ways, for we need to grow & change constantly to not fall behind what God is wanting to teach us & do with us, through us & for us.
We must be aware of our desperate need for God daily & of our need to be totally reliant upon Him in all things, as well as having a deep longing for constant communion with Him, without shame or fear.
Sadly much of His Church has replaced ongoing interrelating with Him with simply growing in head knowledge of limited understanding of the bible, & replacing true life-giving fellowship with others with simply gathering in the same building with other Christians. Jesus weeps over this & longs for us to fellowship with Him & with His people…… daily walking the love journey He longs for us to have. He also wants us fully prepared & armed so we will be safe & strong, & so we can walk in the fullness of His overcoming power so as to live out His full victory & to bring others into it also.
Consequently much of the church is weak & sick (spiritually, & therefore also emotionally & physically), & we need to return to the Lord as our First Love & as Lord over our lives. Where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom, deliverance, healing, power & much deep, sacrificial love. When these are missing to any extent we have to acknowledge that we have not made ourselves available enough for the Spirit of the Living God to take over in our midst corporately, & we must humbly seek God to expose where we have resisted His Spirit, &/or not yet learned (or obeyed) in the removal of all demonic obstruction.
Much evil is being released upon the earth. Those who seek God with ALL their hearts, will walk in the great victory Jesus has won for us, but those who don’t will be overcome by the traumas & storms until they turn back to God in full & lay all else aside. No matter where we are at now, God will make us ready if we seek Him with al our heart…. we need not be afraid of our own lack & weakness, but rejoice in knowing that God is our sufficiency as we draw from Him. God is calling His people back to Himself in fullness… no longer to be half-hearted toward Him & cold-hearted toward the needs of the lost & broken throughout the world.
God is requiring leaders to lead God’s people to really understand the great love, grace & goodness of God towards us, & to understand the promises, power, & authority He has given us in Christ so we can partner with Him rightly when we choose to humbly rely on Him so we can be made whole, bring others to wholeness, & to bless & honour God. If, however, the leaders’ eyes are closed & they refuse to see the spiritual weakness of the people & leave them to believe that all is well, then they are stumbling them & leading them into a ditch & deception of far greater lack & loss & unnecessary suffering. This is why the bible tells us that we must pray for our leaders, but God will discipline or even remove those leaders who are continuing to resist Him.
We must acknowledge where we are really at, & what is really up ahead, & be made strong & prepared for the future times which are coming quickly upon us. We can no longer remain deluded & unprepared by ‘doing business as usual’ & thinking all will be well, for to do so will bring much unnecessary trauma & suffering instead of us being ready to walk in the great power, joy & victory that God has planned for us.
God is not just going to be happy with where we are without Him ruling & then suddenly one day magically pour out supernatural power upon us to transform our character, knowledge, experience & hearts so that we will suddenly all be supernaturally mature, healed & having thousands pour into our congregations. God does not want the great Harvest coming in to be just like us, because we are too lacking in our relationship with God & His ways. We must become mature by knowing our God & walking in partnership with Him, & He is longing for us to reach out to Him for Him to bring us into this intimacy & understanding. Though the great Outpouring of his Spirit is coming, we must be willing & ready to receive it with the maturity & understanding to carry the power & responsibility that goes with it, & we are far from that at this point.
Many are praying for outpouring & revival but are oblivious that they could not cope with it at all if it came because they are not ready. Instead we should also be praying to be made ready & be willing to hear & obey what God is saying to us. There must be much repentance in God’s Church & a humble seeking of God with ALL our hearts before he can move as we would wish. It is we who must move with Him.
We must choose Christ daily by growing in our personal relationship with Him & so getting to know Him & His Heart & ways intimately, so we will become like him….. growing in walking in His supernatural power, authority, love, mercy, boldness, etc & walking in this by partnering with Him & playing our part as He leads. This means growing in intimate relationship & fellowship & partnership with God’s Holy Spirit, & when we come to Him with humble hearts, the Light of His Presence will clearly expose any darkness in our hearts, souls & lives so it can be cleaned out.
Remember, God loves us & disciplines us out of love, but DISCIPLINE IS NOT PUNISHMENT, but is often letting us reap what we have sown if need be to help us learn & grow, but He always prefers to teach us gently, for His Heart is tender toward us! Sadly, most of us are to some extent stubborn in heart & will have to know God’s discipline. Some call this redemptive judgement, knowing that God must do this for our good so we will turn back to Him from where we have strayed. The many trials ahead will expose these areas of stubbornness in our hearts, & if we repent quickly & run in close to God we will know His shelter from the storms.
NB: Hebrews 12:5-13: And have you completely forgotten this word of encouragement that addresses you as a father addresses his son? It says, “My son, do not make light of the Lord’s discipline, and do not lose heart when he rebukes you, because the Lord disciplines the one he loves, and he chastens everyone he accepts as his son.” Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as his children. For what children are not disciplined by their father? If you are not disciplined—and everyone undergoes discipline —then you are not legitimate, not true sons and daughters at all. Moreover, we have all had human fathers who disciplined us and we respected them for it. How much more should we submit to the Father of spirits and live! They disciplined us for a little while as they thought best; but God disciplines us for our good, in order that we may share in his holiness. No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it. Therefore, strengthen your feeble arms and weak knees. “Make level paths for your feet,” so that the lame may not be disabled, but rather healed.”
